HUDA validates sale of all plots of Reserved Quota: Multiple Allotment Scam

As expected, HUDA succumbed in the front of Hon'ble High Court and the year long pain, suffering and agony has finally ended for residents of HUDA Sectors & HUDA Plot Owners. 

On 12th August 2015 in the Punjab & Haryana High Court, HUDA gave into the pressure from the bonfide purchasers of reserved category HUDA plots throughout Haryana. 

HUDA submitted its policy to the Hon'ble Court wherein they validated all bonafide subsequent purchasers who got re-allotment issued from HUDA after attaining Transfer Permission from HUDA.

Besides this HUDA in its policy has also refused to ask for any affidavit from the buyers and sellers of reserved quota plots.

In its policy presented in the court however said that it will verify the fact if the original allottee has transferred the fraudulently attained plot to its near & dear ones.


It is noteworthy that since last 1 year HUDA was harassing the owners, buyers & sellers of the reserved category plots. HUDA was not allowing constructions, sale, mortgage of  those plots which fell under the suspicion of being multiple allotment.

House Tax in Gurgaon

Municipal Corporation Of Gurgaon (MCG) is pursuing an aggressive drive of collecting House Tax from the residents of Gurgaon since last year. MCG has been advertising to create awareness about House Tax.

Residents of Gurgaon are finding the concept of House Tax very complex. Those who are living in apartments, villas and Independent Houses built in private townships are unable to digest the reason of House Tax as they are already paying hefty Society Maintenance charges to the developer.

It has been seen that many of the residents of Old Gurgaon are against House Tax as they cite lack of basic amenities in their colonies.

However they are residents who are keen on not taking government headon, hence they are depositing House Tax with Municipal Corporation.

How to deposit the House Tax?

Municipal Corporation is charging very nominal house tax which has to be deposited at Office of Municipal Corporation situated  just opposite Civil Hospital, Gurgaon
  • If you have the copy of Property Tax Notice the owner can directly go to the office and pay the tax.
  • If you don't have any details about the outstanding House Tax on your property than you will have to go to the Office of Municipal Corporation and ascertain the payable amount.

Circle Rates / Collector Rate for the year 2015-2016 remains unchanged

Finally government has also sensed and have realized the sluggish nature of real estate in NCR. Haryana Government has decided not to change the Circle Rates / Collector Rate for the year 2015-2016 has kept is same as that of year 2014-2015. New Circle Rates / Collector Rate will be effective from 01/04/2015 till 31/03/2015.
