Municipal Corporation Of Gurgaon (MCG) is pursuing an aggressive drive of collecting House Tax from the residents of Gurgaon since last year. MCG has been advertising to create awareness about House Tax.
Residents of Gurgaon are finding the concept of House Tax very complex. Those who are living in apartments, villas and Independent Houses built in private townships are unable to digest the reason of House Tax as they are already paying hefty Society Maintenance charges to the developer.
It has been seen that many of the residents of Old Gurgaon are against House Tax as they cite lack of basic amenities in their colonies.
However they are residents who are keen on not taking government headon, hence they are depositing House Tax with Municipal Corporation.
How to deposit the House Tax?
Municipal Corporation is charging very nominal house tax which has to be deposited at Office of Municipal Corporation situated just opposite Civil Hospital, Gurgaon
- If you have the copy of Property Tax Notice the owner can directly go to the office and pay the tax.
- If you don't have any details about the outstanding House Tax on your property than you will have to go to the Office of Municipal Corporation and ascertain the payable amount.
